Login as root and download the setup.sh file<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
 wget https:\/\/www.directadmin.com\/setup.sh<\/pre>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Hint: Use “fetch” instead of “wget” on FreeBSD systems.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Change permissions on the setup.sh file<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
 chmod 755 setup.sh <\/pre>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Run the script<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
 .\/setup.sh auto <\/pre>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The auto method will be best for most people. It automatically installs everything for you, including the CSF firewall.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
It can also be called as ‘.\/setup.sh’ without options, which requires input but allows for customization.

Important:<\/strong> The hostname should not be the same as the primary domain name. e.g. merahost.org is not a good hostname, where server.merahost.org is. Having the same host\/main domain name will cause e-mail and FTP problems. Also, please make sure the hostname resolves once you setup DNS.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Accessing the Control Panel<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
DirectAdmin can be accessed at http:\/\/server.ip.address:2222 — use the Admin username\/password specified in the setup.txt file in your scripts directory.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
